ProCure21's commitment to training continues
. The provision of training remains an important element of the ProCure21 programme. Since September 07 we have trained over 1000 delegates on our courses and we continue to provide training where it's needed. Comments received have been very positive and everyone has been happy to recommend the courses to other colleagues:
We strongly advise that those who have not attended the Introductory course do so before attending the GMP or NEC courses. These require a reasonable knowledge o NHS procurement procedure, P21 principles and processes to get the most out of them. If you are in any doubt as to which course is right for you please contact your local P21 Implementation Advisor for assistance. The courses are delivered free of charge in various locations around the country mainly aliied to the major cities. We are very keen to deliver the training on NHS premises and invite other local NHS Clients to attend rather than using city centre hotels. The courses are not exclusive to the NHS, supply-chain staff are welcome if they are working on a P21 scheme, however priority will be given to NHS Clients. Where there is a particular requirement that is not aligned to the 3 courses above we can provide bespoke courses. If this is the case please contact your local Implementation Advisor. We have procured two excellent training facilitators both of which have extensive experience throughout the programme. They use their practical experience to enhance the content of the courses and ensure that the delegates leave the training enthusiastic about P21 and the challenges ahead of them. For a quick introduction to the trainers, please click on the links below. If you would like training on ProCure21 then please get in contact with julian.colaco@dh.gsi.gov.uk If you are working on a scheme and need training we will try and place you on an course that is convenient for you as soon as possible. If we cannot, then we will keep your details on record and notify you of courses coming up that may be of interest to you.

As rightly proud as you can all be for this achievement, the real benefit is to those who work and are treated within its walls. With the Phoenix Unit and now WAU, the Trust has facilities which, probably for the first time since Springfield was developed in the mid 19th Century, create the therapeutic environment needed for our patients to help them recover. They are the real winners from all your endeavours – thank you.
